This hotel perfectly captures the essence of Meiji era with its retro charm. The rooms are wonderfully Japanese and the updated bathrooms are a nice touch. The staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating. The food at the small restaurant is excellent, and the open kitchen adds a unique touch to the dining experience. The location is convenient, not far from the main area, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The food was delicious and there were two private hot spring bathing rooms available. The location was also convenient, situated in a peaceful neighborhood and not too far from the main attractions. It was a great experience to be able to soak in the hot spring while enjoying the winter scenery outside.

The room was quite cramped and we could easily hear the noise from the neighboring rooms. The staff was not very attentive and seemed like they were just going through the motions.

The Hotel Hanakoyado Kobe exceeded all my expectations. First of all, the staff were very friendly and hospitable, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Secondly, the rooms were beautifully designed, with updated bathrooms that added a touch of luxury to my stay. Additionally, the hotel's attention to detail was evident in the delicious breakfast they served, which was a perfect start to each day.

The thin walls between rooms may result in a somewhat noisy experience.

I had a truly exceptional and unique experience staying at this hotel. The attention to detail and luxurious touches in the rooms were impressive. From the pants press to the safety deposit box, everything was thoughtfully provided. The updated bathrooms were a standout feature, adding extra comfort to my stay.

The breakfast was excellent with a unique western option available for a small extra fee. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They even provided us free taxi service whenever we needed it.
